Private International Law at Complutense University of Madrid
Lidia Moreno Blesa is lecturer in Private International Law at Complutense University of Madrid, with a PhD in Law in 2000. Extraordinary degree award at Complutense University of Madrid and master’s degree in foreign trade by the Community of Madrid. Research activity has focused on international trade law, the regulation of Immigration, extrajudicial dispute resolution and private international law.
Currently member of the Research Group at the UCM called: International Trade Law and member of the Complutense Institute of European Law and Regional Integration (IDEIR). Visiting Research in the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, in the Institute of International Relations of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and in Bulgaria as a Short-Term Expert in the activity 13 namely Advice on the Legal Framework of out of court solutions.
This activity is part of the Twinning Covenant code BG02/IB/SO-01 called “Support for the elaboration and effective implementation of the consumer protection legislation and for the strengthening of the institutional structure in the field of consumer protection”. Previously Coordinator of the master’s degree in international law and the subject of international legal advice in the official master’s degree for Lawyers at the UCM.
Lidia Moreno Blesa es Profesora Titular de Derecho Internacional Privado en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Doctora en Derecho en 2000. Premio extraordinario de licenciatura por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Máster en Comercio Exterior por la Comunidad de Madrid. La actividad investigadora se ha centrado en el Derecho mercantil internacional, la regulación de la Inmigración, la resolución extrajudicial de conflictos y el Derecho internacional privado.
Actualmente es miembro del Grupo de Investigación de la UCM denominado: Derecho Mercantil Internacional y miembro del Instituto Complutense de Derecho Europeo e Integración Regional (IDEIR). Investigador Visitante en la Vrije Universiteit de Amsterdam, en el Instituto de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina (Brasil) y en Bulgaria como Experto de Corto Plazo en la actividad 13 denominada Asesoramiento sobre el Marco Jurídico de las soluciones extrajudiciales.
Esta actividad forma parte del Convenio de Hermanamiento código BG02/IB/SO-01 denominado “Apoyo a la elaboración y aplicación efectiva de la legislación de protección de los consumidores y al fortalecimiento de la estructura institucional en el ámbito de la protección de los consumidores”. Anteriormente Coordinador del Máster en Abogacía Internacional y de la asignatura de Asesoría Jurídica Internacional en el Máster Oficial de la Abogacía de la UCM.
