Wayne Petherick holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and an M.A. in Criminology. He is an associate professor at Bond University.

Wayne Petherick is currently conducting research on the use of heuristics in case linking and online risk behaviors for children and adolescents.

In addition, Wayne Petherick has lectured on criminal profiling, harassment and bullying in Australia and the United States and has consulted on a variety of cases including numerous homicides, sexual assaults, stalking and risk assessments in Australia and overseas.

Wayne Petherick is a frequent commentator in the media, through radio, television and print, on stalking, homicide, risk and threat, and other issues of criminological significance.
