School of Social Innovation

School of Social Innovation

The School of Social Innovation at Evidentia University was created with the firm purpose of being a key tool in the training of leaders and professionals committed to social transformation. This new school is designed to respond to the growing demands for education in innovation and sustainability, offering specialized programs aimed at political leaders, public officials, entrepreneurs, business owners, third-sector managers, academics, and students.

Our goal is to provide a high-level academic environment where the most pressing social issues affecting millions of people worldwide are analyzed, and where future managers of innovative solutions that promote social change are trained. Issues such as social inequality, hunger, lack of access to basic resources such as water and healthcare, resource scarcity, and child mortality are some of the major challenges we address.

Additionally, our school also focuses on new challenges such as the inclusion of migrants, managing large cities, elderly care, and providing assistance to people in dependent situations.

This is where Social Innovation, along with Technological Innovation, plays a crucial role in the search for solutions. However, few educational centers can bring together experts in these fields and offer cross-cutting and intercultural proposals to train future social managers. The School of Social Innovation is launched with a clear focus on three fundamental areas: Social Innovation, Human Rights, and Longevity.

SOCIAL INNOVATION

Develop innovative solutions to the most urgent social problems.
Enroll today in our Social Innovation courses!

The Social Innovation area provides students with a comprehensive view of this branch of innovation, which is becoming increasingly relevant in both developing countries and advanced economies. Through our courses, students will learn to apply Social Innovation as an effective tool for addressing complex challenges, from sustainability to developing new business opportunities that expand the reach of potential customers.

The courses delve into the origin and evolution of Social Innovation, providing practical examples and success stories in solving social problems. Topics such as strategic communication and the use of social marketing will also be addressed, as these have proven crucial in increasing stakeholder emotional engagement and the impact of business projects.

Far from being just a philanthropic tool, Social Innovation is positioned as a strategic component within modern business management, promoting social responsibility, solutions to unemployment in technologically advanced societies, and the opening of new markets.

HUMAN RIGHTS

Transform the world with respect and equality.
Specialize in Human Rights and contribute to creating a more inclusive society.

Respect for and the promotion of Human Rights are fundamental pillars for society’s progress. In this area of study, students will gain a deep understanding of the main legal frameworks and public policies that protect fundamental rights, as well as the values that drive their creation and expansion at a global level.

Our courses offer a broad perspective, addressing the historical development of Human Rights and their evolution in a globalized context, from a multicultural and multilateral perspective. This approach is essential to overcoming Eurocentric views and fostering global acceptance of these rights.

In addition, the courses will delve into the rights of minorities, such as the rights of women, children, people with disabilities, and migrants, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the regulations that guarantee their protection and promote a more inclusive society.

LONGEVITY

Help build a society prepared for aging.
Learn to face the challenges of longevity and elderly care.

The increase in life expectancy, driven by improvements in health and well-being, has created new social and economic demands. In this area, students will explore the challenges and opportunities arising from population aging, analyzing its implications from psychological, sociological, and economic perspectives.

Our courses offer an in-depth approach to the social problems associated with longevity, from the protection of elderly rights to the management of leisure, care for dependent people, and the development of innovative social policies. Topics such as ageism and other forms of exclusion will also be examined, along with assistive technologies and the transition from working life to retirement.
