About Juan Camilo Salcedo

Juan Camilo Salcedo is the Regional Director LATAM at BEworks.

He holds a Master’s and a PhD in experimental social psychology from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bryant University in the US.

Juan Camilo has an extensive experience in behavioral economics consulting, helping organizations tackle complex challenges in the private and public sector. He has applied behavioral science to drive innovate solutions in financial services, telecom, tech, and transportation among others. He has also led comprehensive behavioral economics workshops in North and Latin America. His academic research has centered on costly signaling theory, focusing on its impact in financial decision making, and its role in punishments and virtue signaling.
