Biography

Dr. Jeanette Espinal is a business leader with more than twelve years of experience in higher-education administration, organizational management, and international operations. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Florida International University and a Master of Education in Higher Education, Curriculum and Design from Salem University, a combination that lets her ground business theory in practical organizational application while designing learning experiences that stick.

She currently serves as Dean of Student Experience at MUST University, a fully online institution, where she leads seven functional units and directs cross-departmental initiatives in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. Her leadership work includes managing distributed, multicultural teams, restructuring workflows for measurable cost savings, and building performance and accountability systems, the kind of applied organizational challenges she brings into the classroom as case material.

Prior to MUST, Dr. Espinal spent more than seven years at Schiller International University in progressively senior roles, including Campus President, Academic Dean, Corporate Registrar, and Dean of Students. This trajectory gave her firsthand experience in executive leadership, change management, and the operational realities of running an academic enterprise across international campuses. She teaches across the business curriculum and brings a practitioner's perspective grounded in real organizational leadership, working fluently across English, Spanish, and Portuguese to connect with diverse, global student populations. Her instructional approach is preparation-driven and structured, emphasizing clear expectations, real-world application, and strong student support.
