Biography — Rafael López Pérez

Rafael López Pérez (Rafael Manuel López Pérez, in full) is Founder of Evidentia University of Behavioral and Forensic Sciences, where he leads the institution's academic direction across its forensic, behavioral and business programs. He also presides the Scientific Society of Behavioral Economics, the Behavioral Economics Observatory at the College of Economists of Madrid, and the Behavior & Law Research Foundation.

His academic training is interdisciplinary: PhD in Psychology from Universidad Camilo José Cela (Madrid), PhD in Economics from UNED (Dialnet/TESEO 318557, 2023), a Master of Science in Emotion, Cognition and Health Research from Universidad Camilo José Cela, plus bachelor's degrees in Business and Economics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Psychology (Universidad Isabel I de Castilla) and Criminology (Valencian International University). He has authored more than thirty scientific articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, plus books and book chapters across behavioral economics, fraud psychology, nonverbal behavior and criminal profiling. His ORCID record (0000-0002-2807-7419) and Google Scholar profile document the publications.

Since 2024 he serves as thematic editor of Retos, a bilingual peer-reviewed journal indexed in Scopus, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Dialnet and Redalyc, co-editing with Dr. José Vila (University of Valencia) the monograph Behavioral Economics and Game Theory: Advances and Applications.
