Biography — María Carmen Feijoo Fernández

María Carmen Feijoo Fernández — publicly known as Carmen Feijoo — is faculty in several master's programs at Evidentia University of Behavioral and Forensic Sciences, including the Master in Criminal Profiling and the Master in Nonverbal and Deceptive Behavior. She heads the Behaviour Detection Group at Madrid Airport for the Spanish Guardia Civil's ICARO project, and has chaired the ECAC (European Civil Aviation Conference) Behaviour Detection Study Group since February 2018, with thirty-two years of operational law-enforcement experience.

Her academic training includes a Bachelor's in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid), a Master's in Forensic Psychology, and certified clinical psychology training. She holds the AVSEC trainer certification issued by AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety Agency) and operates as a crisis-situations negotiator within the Guardia Civil.
