Description:

In this course we will study emotion and the channels of non-verbal expression and in successive classes we will go into the specific aspects of the doctor-patient relationship and the role that non-verbal communication plays in this field.

In the last classes we will go into more specific pathologies that healthcare personnel face on a daily basis.

Objectives:

  • Know the basics of nonverbal communication
  • Apply non-verbal communication to the doctor-patient relationship.
  • Manage the situation based on the patient's characteristics.

How it works

The student will have a series of video classes where different teachers offer the content of the course. In addition, there will be a series of study and complementary materials for a complete learning.

The student must complete a series of self-assessment questionnaires to evaluate the learning of it.

Requirements to Pass the course

To succesfully pass the course, students are required to achieve the following minimum requirements:

  • All questionnaires must be passed.
    (Questionnaires represent 50% of the final score).
  • Final Activity must be passed.
    (Final activity represent 50% of the final score).
  • Final score must be 7/10 (or highter) to get the Certificate of Completion.
