Biography — Alicia Juárez

She is psychologist and Police Officer of the Spanish National Police (Cuerpo Nacional de Policía — CNP), serving in the Behavioral Analysis Section (Sección de Análisis del Comportamiento — SAC) of the Central Criminal Intelligence Unit at the General Commissariat of Judicial Police. SAC is the CNP counterpart to the Guardia Civil's SACD and one of the two Spanish national specialist units for criminal behavior analysis.

Her academic training includes a Master's in Forensic Sciences with specialization in Criminal Analysis and Investigation from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), and a Master's in Nonverbal Communication and Lie Detection delivered jointly by Universidad a Distancia de Madrid (UDIMA) and Behavior & Law. She provides training to the Spanish National Police and other official organizations and participates as lecturer in national and international forums on criminal behavior analysis. She is co-coordinator of the book Manual de Detección de la Mentira y el Engaño and co-author of the Manual Operativo del MetaProtocolo SAVE published by Behavior & Law Ediciones.
