Biography

Kathy Mantz is an award-winning educator and business professional with over 25 years of corporate experience and 10 years in academic and online education. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Dr. Mantz has held academic appointments at Purdue Global University, Cabrini University (now Villanova University), Trevecca Nazarene University, and Alabama A&M University, and brings a corporate background that includes leading multimillion-dollar public-sector contracts as Governmental Affairs Manager for Waste Management, Inc. and serving as Partner and Senior Marketing and Sustainability Consultant at Strategic Sense Consulting.

A recognized scholar with over 15 academic publications, her research focuses on sustainable marketing, consumer decision theory, and applied business strategy. She was named Adjunct Faculty of the Year at Cabrini University (2021) and has earned Best in Journal and Best in Conference honors from the Journal of International Business and Economics and the European Journal of Business Research.

She teaches across the full spectrum of marketing, including Consumer Behavior, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Research and Analytics, Marketing Communications, Social Media, Advertising, Branding, New Product Development, and Product Management. Dr. Mantz also teaches sustainability-focused coursework, including Sustainability Strategy & Leadership, Sustainable Marketing & Consumption, Sustainable Product Development, Sustainability for Competitive Advantage, Social and Sustainable Venturing, and Sustainable Marketing and Societal Well-Being, as well as the MBA Capstone course.
