Biography — Russed Yesid Barrera Santos

Russed Yesid Barrera Santos is Vice-Provost of Evidentia University of Behavioral and Forensic Sciences. A Colombian national, he completed a Bachelor's in Business Administration at Universidad Externado de Colombia, followed by a postgraduate program in Conflict Conciliation and Resolution, a Master's in Nonverbal Behavior and Lie Detection at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, specialized training in Project Formulation and Evaluation in Argentina, and a Doctorate in Political Science and Sociology at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Spain. He has also completed negotiation studies at Harvard University.

For seventeen years he worked across international organizations including the United Nations, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). He currently serves as international business consultant and executive coach, doctoral tutor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala), and Catedrático at universities affiliated with the Behavior & Law Foundation. He is a guest lecturer at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has held professorships at universities across Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Spain. As a corporate consultant he has worked with Coca-Cola, Merck, Kimberly-Clark, Cervecería Centroamericana, Bayer and Banco Industrial. He is a columnist for Prensa Libre (Guatemala) and author of works on negotiation and personal transformation.
