Yirsa Jiménez holds a PhD in Psychology and is an associate professor in the Department of Social Psychology of the Criminology Degree at the University of Barcelona. She also teaches at the Universities of Vic and Manresa.

Yirsa Jiménez’s lines of research focus on Health Psychology (Adherence to treatment) and Gender Perspective (Violence against women).

Yirsa Jiménez is also an expert in Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She is the author of a Family Mediation Guide published by the Women’s Delegation of the Seville City Council and has published numerous articles on the subject.
